One thing which completely changed my perspective about life was the importance of thoughts.

These can make your future or break it. Why go so far in the future?

These thoughts are capable of destroying or making the present a worth living one.

The thoughts are those thousand ideas that flow into your mind every day.

The interesting fact is that 90% of our thoughts are repeated.

We are programmed to think 90% of the things which we taught yesterday.

If negative thoughts destroyed your mood yesterday, then it is likely that such thoughts will resurface and impact your present.

Yes, you understood it right.

You will stay in the loop until you become mindful and work towards dismissing the negative thoughts.

There are several techniques that you can deploy to dismiss ill-thought and the most common way is a replacement.

Everything just starts with a simple thought.

It is the controller of your mood, your actions, and your results.

This is a chain thus you want the first element in the change to be positive so all other factors are only positively impacted.

Now do me a favor.

Think about your achievements. Trackback the first thought which led to it.

There has to be a thought which when repeated overturned into a belief.

You led your life with the belief and radiated positive feelings.

The feelings together with belief impacted your actions and you got results.

Sounds simple?

Yes, it is.

Consider you are worrying today about the several bills which you will have to pay by the end of the month.

Right now you are just thinking about the bills, bills, and bills.

Now by the end of the month, you will receive nothing but bills.

Nothing changed because your thoughts didn’t.

You were thinking from a scarcity mindset.

If instead of bills you would have constantly thought about receiving a sum from an unknown source by the end of the month then you would have surely attracted miracles.

The universe would have carved the path and the unusual way through which you would have received the cheque instead of just usual bills.

Similarly, by thinking just about bills, you are not in any way changing your actions.

If you would have thought about additional sources of income then you would have taken actions according to it.

Remember, a limited mindset will always hinder creativity.

If your creativity gets hindered then nothing can change in life.

The whole lifestyle will remain monotonous and this applies to every domain of life.

You will have to identify your thoughts. I know you can not keep account of every thought.

Before negative thoughts could turn into your belief, change the thought.

You can go as far as creating a journal for your thoughts. Write down the supporting thoughts so that they can shape your belief.

3# Accept your past to transform your mind for success

 

The most powerful quote which I ever came across about pain is:

You can not control the pain but you can control the suffering.

If you will suffer then that means you are clinging to a past which you cannot change.

This is normal to have what-ifs . . . every human is caught up in the trap of what-ifs.

Some stay in the trap while the rest are wise enough to break free.

Right after my father’s death, I used to question myself, “what if I was at home?” “what if we took him to another hospital”

These what-ifs will never end . . . until you choose to.

How to get out of the past?

Accept it instead of giving it a one-sided fight, because your past is not participating anyway.

It has done to you what was meant. To accept, acknowledge, learn, and grow.

Don’t stunt your growth while remaining in the trap of the past.

If you cannot change your past, control certain events of fate then what is the point of thinking the right thing?

Wondering this?

Got you! Luckily 80% of the things are still in your control.

Like what is the larger purpose of your life, who will you marry, how much you can earn, who has a right to stay in your life and who does not etc.

Those were just a few to name a few. Thoughts are even capable of pulling you out from life-taking diseases.

Have you ever questioned how cancer survivors beat the illness?

Through the thoughts, they think. It is all the game of mindset.

Their energy goes towards only positive consequences thus the universe is forced to return the same positive energy of the same intensity.

Like energy attracts the like energy.

This is when miracles are BOUND to happen.

The other day, I called my friend.

She was WORRIED.

Like really worried. A worry that was giving her anxiety attacks.

She was worried whether she would survive the pandemic or not.

I gave her the example of a rocking chair. It will keep swinging, rocking you, while getting you anywhere.

No matter how much energy you waste or exhaust yourself. It will remain on its spot.

The same is the case with worry. It will get you nowhere.

This emotion is a useless emotion that will fake to be a necessary one.

Have you started journaling yet?

Incorporated it in any way in your life?

Please say yes! I have loved journaling for 12 or even before that. But that journaling was not intentional.

After going through a rough patch, I learned the journal for success.

I learned how to journal to shift my mindset. I got how to journal for manifestation.

For now:

  • Pen down the positive thoughts
  • Ink down the negative thoughts and think why are they unreasonable
  • If any particular thought is disturbing, write the thought and then write one better thought which could make you feel better. Keep completing the chain.
  • Example: If you cannot afford something right now and it is making you sad then write it down.
  • Next, write the circumstances in your life when you faced a similar or worst situation but you were able to get through successfully. You are miraculously able to afford it.
  • Similarly, if your thoughts of low self-confidence are looming over your head then think of the times when you were most confident. If you could be self-confident back then why not today.
  • Ask questions through journaling and you will surely get answers which have the capability of changing your life.
  • Ask questions that will promote positive thoughts. Questions about your goals etc.
