Why to use journal prompts for depression?

If you are new to my blog then you might not know the endless reasons why I vouch for journaling.

This is more therapeutic than any therapy.

You should , without a whole doubt, make use of journaling as a weapon for fighting anxiety.

As long as we are part of this three-dimensional world, we must be aware of the fact that

“we are bound to be struck by life. ”

Life will play its game.

It will pull you down.

It will test your patience by throwing you off the cliff and forcing you to live.

I have been hit several times by life.

The hardest when I lost my shadow two years back – my father.

At this point in time, i can recall a famous quote:

Pain is given but suffering is a choice.

If you will be making use of tools like journaling then you will for sure eliminate your suffering.

This is in no way medical advice or an alternative to psychogenic sessions.

If you are suffering from a serious depression then feel free to get in touch with a professional.

This post is made for a sole purpose of making you feel good, relieved and stress free.

I am sharing what worked for me and what has been working for me since quite long.

Need something apart from the depression prompts?

Willing to dive deeper to live a mindful/dream life by manifesting every goal?

Do not forget to check my hard work then – triple G’s super journaling technique.

Before we dig right into the prompts do not forget to get my favorite freebies related to journaling which has the potential of changing your life:

Things to do before journaling:

If you are into journaling then you must be aware of the fact that people recommend practising journaling at night or in the mornings.

You need to realize why people say so?

During these times, your subconscious mind is most active.

All the feelings and thoughts which you are inking onto the paper are directly coming from your subconscious mind.

If you have no idea how to harness the power of the subconscious mind and use it for your benefit then grab this freebie here.

As far as journaling for depression is concerned then I do not follow any particular time.

I mainly do it when I feel low energy levels.

I take no more than a second to grab my journal if I am feeling down and depressed.

My typical journaling for grief routine is to answer the prompts.

If you are questioning that, does it completely shift the state and  change how I feel?

Well, yes it does if I couple the prompts with triple G’s technique.

(There are effective strategies which I deploy for changing my frequency of thoughts – some I have developed, some I have learnt from the mentors through paid courses)

These are the 4 steps:

  • Dedicate a journal
  • Find a quiet space
  • Dedicate a time
  • Get on with the prompts.

Without further ado let’s dig in but before that:
